These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the TheSkillGrid website and the purchase of training programs and services. By using our website or enrolling in any program, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Services

TheSkillGrid provides professional training programs delivered as scheduled public courses, live online sessions, and customized in-house programs. Program content, format, and delivery details are described on individual course pages and in program proposals. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to program content, facilitators, venues, and scheduling where necessary.

2. Enrollment and Booking

Enrollment in a public course or acceptance of an in-house program proposal constitutes a binding agreement. A booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation and, where applicable, when payment or a purchase order is received. We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion.

3. Payment

Payment terms are specified in the booking confirmation or program proposal. For public courses, full payment is typically required before the program start date. For in-house programs, payment schedules are agreed in the proposal. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. All fees are quoted in US Dollars unless otherwise agreed. Fees are exclusive of any applicable local taxes.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling — Public Courses

  • More than 21 days before the program start date: Full credit applicable to any future program within 12 months. No refund.
  • 8 to 21 days before the program start date: 50% credit applicable to any future program within 12 months.
  • 7 days or fewer before the program start date: No credit or refund. A substitute delegate may be sent in place of the registered participant.
  • Substitutions may be made at any time before the program start date at no charge.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling — In-House Programs

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for in-house programs are specified in the program proposal and agreement. In general, cancellations made more than 30 days before delivery receive a full credit; cancellations made 14 to 30 days before delivery may incur a cancellation fee to cover preparation costs already incurred. Cancellations within 14 days of delivery may be charged at the full program fee.

6. TheSkillGrid’s Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a public course where minimum enrollment numbers are not met, or for circumstances outside our reasonable control. In such cases, registered participants will be offered a full credit or a place on a rescheduled session. We are not liable for any consequential costs incurred by participants in connection with program cancellation.

7. Intellectual Property

All program materials, workbooks, tools, frameworks, and content produced by TheSkillGrid remain our intellectual property. Participants may use materials for their personal professional development and internal organizational application. Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability in connection with any program or service is limited to the fees paid for that program or service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses arising from participation in our programs or use of our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
